I’ve had the desire to start writing and create my own universe since I was very young.

It was in 2014, when Noara had been on my mind for more than ten years, that I started. During those many years, I had time to think about the background and the main plot. I knew where I was going when the lands of Noara finally came to life.

In a medieval-fantastic universe, where the inhabitants of Noara are doomed to fight to survive, an outburst of tenderness towards my characters pushed me to find them something to entertain themselves with during their rare moments of rest.

Being a fan of board games myself, and especially chess, I came up with the idea of creating a new puzzle game for them. To stay in touch with the mood of the novel, I wanted it to be based on warlike strategies. So I kept writing while thinking about the rules of my new game.

At the end of 2015, I thought that the board game could very well be exported to PC and I decided to talk about it with friends, who are great fans of video games as well. The theme of the novel was appealing, the idea of game also and in January 2016 we decided to devote all our free time to the development of the game design for our first game.

This is how the game Noara: The Conspiracy was born.
